Instructions for use
- Cleaning and hygiene:
- Clean the parts immediately after use to prevent milk residues from drying up and to prevent the growth of bacteria.
- Use drinking quality water for the cleaning procedures below
- Take apart the items you want to disinfect.
- Rinse all parts in cold, clean water (about 20°C) and clean in warm soapy water (about 30°C). Rinse again with cold, clean water (see Figure 1)
- Add 60 ml of water to the bag (see Figure 2)
- Put the parts you want to disinfect in the bag (Figure 3)
- Place the sealed bag in the microwave. Place the bag in the center of the turntable (Figure 5a)
- Make sure the bag is firmly upright and can rotate freely in the microwave oven
- If your microwave does not have a turntable, turn the bag over halfway through the heating process
- Heat the bag according to the following heating times
- Heating times
- 1100W+ 1.5 minutes
- 800-1100W 3 minutes
- 500-750W 5 minutes
- If you maintain longer heating times than recommended, parts may shrink
- Carefully remove the hot bag from the microwave (Figure 5b)
- Use oven mitts or potholders as hot water and steam can collect in the microwave oven
- First pour the hot water out of the bag through the drain hole (Figure 6). Then carefully open the bag
- Carefully remove all parts from the bag. Dry each part with a clean cloth (Figure 7). Store the parts you won't use immediately after cleaning in a clean zip-lock bag or container with a lid. You can also wrap the parts in clean paper or cloth
- You can use the bag a maximum of 20 times. You can keep track of how many times you have used the bag using the numbered boxes on the bag (Figure 8). After each use, put a check mark in the following box
Precautions
- The Quick Clean microwaveable bag is for use with microwave-safe plastic only
- Do not place the bag in a conventional oven or grill oven
- Do not place the bag on a metal grid that comes with some microwaves
- Use no less than 60 ml of water. If you use less water, the parts may shrink
- Do not overfill the bag
- Do not disinfect the hose in the microwave bag
- The hose may become deformed
- Be careful when removing the bag from the microwave and opening the bag. Hot water or steam may escape (you may get burned by this)
