The fit around the mattress is very nice because the hem is fully elastic. Perkal cotton has the property of becoming softer and more supple after each wash and it helps to keep your child's body cool. The cotton is tightly woven so dust and mites do not like to take up residence in it.
Per inch there are 200 Perceral cotton threads, the more threads the softer the fitted sheet feels. The longer the cotton threads are the better the quality of the cotton. Swedish Linens therefore combs the cotton so that only the long threads remain and the fitted sheet therefore has a very good quality. Extra nice to know: because organic cotton is used and the fitted sheets are GOTS and Oeko-Tex® certified they are great for the most sensitive of skins.
